[Third Step] - December 18 - 3:25pm [Voice/Video]

Aah, it's great to see light again after so long inside a cave. But I ended up somewhere I never really expected.

I know Miyuki told me the cave let out here, but... Ah! I can show you.

[The video feed flickers to life, shaky at first before settling on a view of a city.]

I think I might be at Blackthorn a little earlier than I'm supposed to be. But this city's really impressive.

[And the video switches back off.]

I don't know how long I'm going to stay here, but I wouldn't mind coming back eventually, after seeing the rest of Johto.

[OoC: Okay so here's the thing. Not long after the post is made, Chitose will stop responding for about a 12 hour span. Anyone who wants to comment before it or after it, leave a note saying which it is. ♥ Either way he will get back to replying at abour 3-4am on the 19th. (ICly, I will respond as I'm able to.)]

[Shiraishi is relieved to hear that Chitose got out of the cave. Though Blackthorn... really, how did he manage to do that?

Shiraishi doesn't bother replying to the feed. He's coming over to where Chitose is instead as he's just gotten to the city himself. At least Chitose doesn't look too bad... even though the reality might be something else.]

You really are unpredictable. Are you alright?

[The reality is something else indeed, but he's thankful for the layers he's wearing when Shiraishi approaches him.

He turns to look at Shiraishi, smiling and still... he looks quite exhausted. His movements are made with care and his skin is just a little flushed--but it's the cold. Really.]

I was even unpredictable to myself this time. [A quiet chuckle.] Ah, I'm okay. Maybe a little tired.

[Shiraishi examined Chitose with his eyes.]

I'm not surprised. Traveling in the cave isn't the best for sleeping. [Been there, done that.] We should get you inside the Pokémon Center... you and the Pokémon must be tired.

[Chitose doesn't flinch, not even a little while he's being examined--though that he's tired is clear enough in his eyes.]

My Pokemon aren't doing too badly, but I could probably use the rest. [There's almost a laugh in his tone as he says that, he's just glad to see a familiar face.]

[Shiraishi will nod at that.] I was about to go there just now. We can probably rest there before signing into an inn or something.

[A real bed, please.]

Lead the way, then? It looked like you've been here a little longer than I have.

[He saw Shiraishi walk over to him from somewhere that looked more town than wilderness...so it was worth a shot guessing that he'd seen the Pokemon Center.

...and yes, god yes a real bed.]

Not too much longer, but just enough to see where the center is.

[He'll walk next to Chitose (his movements might be slightly odd, but that can be counted as tiredness). He's going to keep his eyes on you while they walk.] This way then.

I didn't see it yet. [He's definitely trusting you to get him there.

...except as he trails his eyes down curiously to see if maybe there's a reason why Shiraishi seems to be moving...oddly... it hits him all at once. His head bows a little, dizziness, then fading as he missteps, starts to fall forward--then black.]

[He looks at Chitose.] Well you just-

Chitose? [He'll move in fron and manages to catch the guy before he falls face down in the snow. Ow, that hurt a bit because of everything.] Oi!

[And Chitose's not the most easiest to keep up since he's so tall. And Shiraishi's tired, so that affects things.]

[He's looking around to see if there's anyone around to help. Nope. Where were the NPC when you needed them the most? Or other trainers.

Only one choice here.]

[He calls out Onbin from his Pokéball. The Dragon doesn't like the snow... but looks worriedly at trainer and the other guy.]

I'm sorry Onbin... but please help me get Chitose to the Pokémon center, please?

[Onbin nods. Luckily the dragon is big enough so he can take Chitose and carry him by himself. Shiraishi will keep close to the two as they walk to the Pokémon center.]

... Wait, a cave? Don't tell me you got stuck--

Ah, I woke up in Dark Cave around five days ago. But I just made it out of there, so I think I'm okay.

... Um, Senri, why was that a little...

Ah...well I kind of forgot. And then I slept...

Blackthorn looks super cool! Just don't try to take on the gym leader yet. She's gonna be, like, the strongest in the region, 'cause she's supposed to be the last one you face.

But they've got tons of Dragon-types there, right? So cool!

[Your brother looks mussed up and tired, but not much different from normal.]

I don't think my Pokemon could stand a chance against the last gym. [A chuckle.] Maybe I'll get a chance to watch a battle against her.

Want me to let you know if I see any dragons? [Pictures and all if he has anything to say about it.]

Yeah! And if you get to see her battle, record it for me, okay? I need to study her before I go up against her.
